I visited downtown Phoenix to see the DNA exhibit at Phoenix City Hall. Every visit to Phoenix must include a stop at Ed The Hotdogger's and a check of the Phoenix Bioscience Center. Plus, I like wondering around downtown Phoenix taking pictures of things (not people).
This trip found Ed The Hotdogger at the Arizona State Fair; therefore, I decided to go to the fair.
I arrived at the Arizona State Fair around 1:00pm on Wednesday, 22 October 2003. It was at least 100 degrees and this kept the crowd to a minimum. It was not by plan, but it was Senior Citizen day at the fair.
I entered the fairgounds and headed straight to Ed The Hotdogger. Located a few steps away was Ed's Fellini's Pizza.
It was fun watching Ed The Hotdogger's Polish on a Stick go around and around and around and around.
Down at Fellini's, I enjoyed that patriotic pizza that went around and around and around and around and around.
The state fair is not all about fun places; it is also about eating good foods. Ed The Hotdogger has great food and Fellini's has great food.
Here are pictures of Ed The Hotdogger at the Arizona State Fair. {Ed #1} {Ed #2} {Ed #3} {Ed #4}
Ed The Hotdogger is a Phoenix icon and I consider him an Arizona tradition.
I want to say Thank You to Ed for the tasty pepperoni wrap.
With a full stomach and dripping with sweat from the 100° heat, I decided to wonder around the Arizona State Fair. Here is a directory listing of pictures.
